Verity Academy East Bay Well-Child Policy
We ask each family to take personal responsibility for their own children, and to exercise reasonable care to safeguard and protect other families. The best place for a sick child is at home. Only well children can attend Verity Academy events.
We cannot have children present with others if they have ANY of the following:
*If anyone in the household currently has a fever or felt hot or feverish in the last 48 hours, please do not allow any household members to attend a Verity Academy gathering. If anyone in your household has been in contact with any confirmed COVID-19 positive patients (medical/emergency care professionals exempt) or anyone in your household is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, OR tested positive for COVID-19, then no one in your household should attend a Verity Academy gathering. Please follow guidelines from your doctor and isolate your family from others.
We request that all families be self-governing and personally responsible, only attending when they are comfortable with the risk inherent in any gathering for fellowship and taking all the precautions which they determine best for their own family. Additionally, we request that each family acts carefully and kindly, respecting each other by being extra diligent in choosing to keep their family home if in doubt regarding an illness.
Frequent hand washing with soap and hot water is the best way to prevent the spread of any disease to others. Please bring hand sanitizer with you to all events since hot water and soap may not be available, and remind children to not touch their face with their hands.
